4:1 这些事以后，我看见天上有一个门开了，并且有我初次听见，那同我说话像似号角的声音，说：「你上到这里来，我要指示给你，这些事以后必须要发生的事。」
After this I had a vision of an open door to heaven, and I heard the trumpetlike voice that had spoken to me before, saying, "Come up here and I will show you what must happen afterwards." 4:2 我立即神魂超拔了。看，在天上安置了一个宝座，有一位坐在那宝座上的。
At once I was caught up in spirit. A throne was there in heaven, and on the throne sat 4:3 那位坐着的，看来好似水苍玉和红玛瑙；围绕宝座的虹霓，看来好似翡翠。
one whose appearance sparkled like jasper and carnelian. Around the throne was a halo as brilliant as an emerald. 4:4 宝座周围还有二十四个宝座，宝座上坐著二十四位长老：身穿白衣，头戴金冠。
Surrounding the throne I saw twenty-four other thrones on which twenty-four elders sat, dressed in white garments and with gold crowns on their heads. 4:5 有闪电、响声和雷霆从那宝座发出来；在宝座前还燃著七个火炬，那就是天主的七神。
From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Seven flaming torches burned in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. 4:6 宝座前面有如玻璃海，彷佛水晶；在宝座每一面当中，在宝座周围，有四个活物，前後都满了眼睛：
In front of the throne was something that resembled a sea of glass like crystal. In the center and around the throne, there were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back. 4:7 第一个活物像狮子，第二个活物像牛犊，第三个活物面貌像人，第四个活物像飞鹰。
The first creature resembled a lion, the second was like a calf, the third had a face like that of a human being, and the fourth looked like an eagle in flight. 4:8 那四个活物，个个都有六个翅膀，周围内外都满了眼睛，日夜不停的说：「圣！圣！圣！上主，全能的天主，是昔在、今在、及将来永在者。」
The four living creatures, each of them with six wings, were covered with eyes inside and out. Day and night they do not stop exclaiming: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come." 4:9 每逢那些活物将光荣、尊威和颂谢归於那坐在宝座上的，万世万代的永生者时，
Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 4:10 二十四位长老就俯伏在坐于宝座的那位前，朝拜那万世万代的永生者，且把他们的荣冠投在宝座前说：
the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever. They throw down their crowns before the throne, exclaiming: 4:11 「上主，我们的天主！你是堪享光荣、尊威和权能的，因为你创造了万物，万物都是因了你的旨意而存在，而造成的。」
"Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created."
