26:1 约伯回答说：
Then Job spoke again and said: 26:2 无能为力的人，你怎样援助了他﹖无力的手臂，你怎样支持了他﹖
What help you give to the powerless, what strength to the feeble arm! 26:3 你给无知的人出过什么主意，表现了你多少的智慧﹖
How you counsel, as though he had no wisdom; how profuse is the advice you offer! 26:4 你说这些话是指教谁﹖从你心里发出的是谁的精神﹖
With whose help have you uttered those words, and whose is the breath that comes forth from you? 26:5 幽魂在地下打颤，海底与居于海底的，惊恐不已。
The shades beneath writhe in terror, the waters, and their inhabitants. 26:6 阴府在他前面显露，死域也无所遮掩。
Naked before him is the nether world, and Abaddon has no covering. 26:7 他将北极伸张到太虚，将大地悬于虚无之上。
He stretches out the North over empty space, and suspends the earth over nothing at all; 26:8 他将水包在他的云中，托水的云却不破裂。
He binds up the waters in his clouds, yet the cloud is not rent by their weight; 26:9 他遮蔽了满月的面貌，使他的云彩散布其上。
He holds back the appearance of the full moon by spreading his clouds before it. 26:10 在水面上他划了一圆圈，当作光明与黑暗的分界。
He has marked out a circle on the surface of the deep as the boundary of light and darkness. 26:11 支天的柱子震动，因他的呵叱而战栗。
The pillars of the heavens tremble and are stunned at his thunderous rebuke; 26:12 他以威力使海洋动荡，以明智制伏了海怪。
By his power he stirs up the sea, and by his might he crushes Rahab; 26:13 他一嘘气，天气清朗；他亲手戳穿了飞龙。
With his angry breath he scatters the waters, and he hurls the lightning against them relentlessly; His hand pierces the fugitive dragon as from his hand it strives to flee. 26:14 看啊!这只是他行动的边端，我们所听到的只是些细微的事!他轰轰烈烈的作为，有谁能明了﹖
Lo, these are but the outlines of his ways, and how faint is the word we hear!
